The Space is a multi-arts centre on the Isle of Dogs, programming a mixture of theatre, music, comedy and dance. Converted from a 19th century church, with stained glass windows, a Steinway grand piano and flexible seating, the venue provides a unique and atmospheric environment. The Space is also available for rehearsals and private hire.

Alex Routledge is a classical pianist with a difference. Having formerly played his trade with numerous pop and rock bancs, the musician has re-invented himself as a classical pianist.
Alex returns to The Space with his trademark edgy, provactive jazz tunage, coupled with new material from his 'Falling Forwards' EP that showcases an epic and sonorous side to his classical offerings.
